Notes:
You don’t need to look all over for green chips, you can make them at home, and serve them with your favorite dip.

Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. Green Food Color
1/4 C. Water
Will do about 40 5 1/2″ White Corn Tortilla Shells

Preparation:
Mix together food color and water. With pastry brush, brush on color on both sides of a 5 1/2 ” white corn tortilla. Let dry for one hour. Slice into triangles and fry in hot vegetable oil. Drain tortilla shells on paper towels, salt to taste.

This is a fun way to make stuffed celery sticks. You can leave out the food coloring and enjoy these all year.

Ingredients:
8 oz. Cream Cheese (room temperature)
8 oz. Can Crushed Pineapple (drained)
Celery
Green Food coloring

Preparation:
When cream cheese has reached room temperature whip until soft and fluffy. Blend drained pineapple with cream cheese until completely mixed to gather. Add in food coloring to desired shade. Clean and trim celery. Cut celery into desired pieces. Fill celery with cream cheese mixture and place on serving tray, cover and chill until ready to serve. These are so easy. Simple stuffed celery sticks are tasty little appetizers, or a compliment to a relish tray.

My Heart On A String Cookies
Notes:
To thicken ready to spread canned frosting add a little powder sugar and stir well. This will help frosting to have a firm and dryer texture for frosting cookies.
Ingredients:
1 pkg. Sugar Cookie Mix
Heart shape cookie cutter
Ready to Spread canned frosting
food color
Ready to use decorator frosting
Decorating candy sprinkles or bits
1/8 inch ribbon
Plastic Straw
Preparation:
Prepare cookie mix as directed. Roll dough on lightly floured surface, cookie dough should be 1/4 inch thick. Using cookie cutter cut dough into heart shapes. Use a plastic straw to poke one little hole into the top of the heart for the ribbon to go through after baking. Place the cookies on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven according to the directions on the package. Remove baked cookies and cool. When cookies are completely cool, decorate cookies as desired. When frosting and decorating is complete, cut ribbon into length desired and string cookies with ribbon.

Ingredients:
1 pkg. Sugar Cookie Mix
Ready to Spread Frosting
Red Food Color
Craft Sticks
Assorted sprinkles and topping of your choice
Heart shaped cookie cutter

Preparation:
Prepare cookie dough according to instructions. Roll cookie dough on floured surface about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with heart shape cutter. Carefully insert wooden stick 2 inches into the bottom part of the heart. Carefully smooth dough on both sides of the cookie. The wooden stick should not be portruding from the cookies. Place cookies on a greased baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake according to the instructions of mix. Remove cookies from oven when baked and cool. When cookies are completely cool and decorate with your favorite frosting, candies, or sprinkles. Kids will have fun eating cookies on a stick.

This is a tasty version of French Toast. You can subsitute the bread of your choice.

Ingredients:
1 Quart Premium Quality Heavy Egg Nog
1 Loaf french bread sliced
1/2 C. powder sugar
1 + 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)
Vegetable Oil for Frying

Preparation:
Mix 1 tsp. of ground nutmeg into 1/2 C. powder sugar and set aside. On medium high heat place non stick fry pan and add oil when the pan begins to get hot. Enough of oil is needed so the pan is barley covered, about 1 tablespoon for two or three slices of bread. In a shallow dish place enough of the egg nog so the slices of bread maybe halfway submerged. Dip bread on both sides and place into hot oil. When bread has been toasted on each side and turned a golden brown remove and sprinkle with the powder sugar mixture.

This is an easy to put together stew. You can also put this in the crock pot for a couple of hours if desired.

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 C. chopped onion
1/4 C. uncooked rice
2 c. chopped potatoes
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with onion in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Layer ground beef mixture, rice, potatoes and beans in lg. casserole.
Combine remaining ingredients with 1/2 c. water in bowl, mixing well. Pour over casserole. Bake covered, at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

This punch has a fantastic color. The punch also tastes pretty good. If you want an excellent effect for punch this is the one to go for. Diet Mountain Dew produces the best color.

Ingredients:
2 liters of Diet Mountain Dew
1 pkg. Blue Kool-Aide prepared

Preparation:
In a large punch bowl add the Diet Mountain Dew. Add in enough of the prepared Blue Kool-Aide to obtain the Glycol color. We obtained our color with about 3 cups of Kool-Aide.

Ingredients:
12 slices of white or brown bread
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
6 oz. strawberry jam

Preparation:
Cut the crusts from bread, then lightly spread each slice with butter. Spread six slices with jam, and then sanwich them together with the remaining buttered bread.
Using a round pastry cutter, stamp out four circles from each sandwich. Arrange on a serving plate and serve as soon as possible.
