Kaleidoscope Cookies

Notes:
With every bite there is a surprise of flavor, and if you hold them up to the light you will truly be looking through a kaleidoscope.

Ingredients:
1 Package Sugar Cookie Dough (dairy case)
1 Package Life Saver Candies (variety package 6.5 oz)
2 or 3 Regular Rolls Life Saver Candies (for additional colors)

Preparation:
Choose Life Savers in your favorite flavors and colors. In a heavy plastic bag place Life Saver Candies and break them with a food mallet. Cut cookie dough into 1/8″ slices. On a nonstick baking sheet spray lightly with cooking spray and place cookie dough 2″ apart. Arrange candy pieces on slices and press through dough softly until they are touching the cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated at 350 degrees oven between 12 – 16 minutes depending on oven.
When cookies are done and removed from oven, leave cookies on cookie sheet until they are slightly cool and firm. Remove from cookie sheet and place on serving plate.
